In short: chronic illness coaching is one-to-one, forward-looking support for the life around your diagnosis — mindset, energy, identity, relationships and direction. It sits alongside your medical care, never instead of it. Sessions are one hour over Zoom with a recording and notes, £120 each or £500 for five, and every journey starts with a free call.
Who I help

Coaching for people living with long-term conditions

You don’t need a particular diagnosis — or any diagnosis — to work with me. These are the conditions I most often coach people through.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

Newly diagnosed or years in — from someone who has lived with MS for over nine years.

Parkinson’s

Steady, hopeful support through the first months and the identity shifts that follow.

Fibromyalgia & chronic pain

Changing your relationship with pain, guilt and an invisible illness.

ME/CFS & long Covid

The mindset side of pacing and energy — without giving up on your life.

Autoimmune & neurological conditions

Lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s, FND, epilepsy and more.

Feeling stuck or at a crossroads

No diagnosis needed. For anyone whose life has stopped feeling like their own.

Why lived experience matters

Coached by someone who has walked the path

I was diagnosed with MS and told there was nothing I could do. I didn’t accept that. Over nine years I changed my mindset, my relationship with my body and my life — and I trained as a transformational coach so I could help others do the same.

That means I understand fatigue, brain fog, the fear of the future and the grief for the life you expected — not from a textbook, but from the inside. Sessions are shaped around your energy, never the other way round.

What changes

What people tell me is different after coaching

Mindset

From “my life is over” to “what’s possible now?”. Less fear about the future, more control over today, and a kinder inner voice.

Energy

A clearer sense of what drains and restores you, rest planned before it’s needed, and precious energy spent on what matters.

Direction

A sense of who you are now, a purpose that fits this chapter, and small steps that add up to real momentum.

Coaching, therapy or health coaching?

Which kind of support do you need?

They overlap, but they do different jobs — and a responsible coach will always signpost you to the right one. Many people use more than one at different times.

Therapy / counselling
Qualified mental-health professionals. Heals the past and treats conditions like depression and anxiety. Start here if your mental health itself needs treatment.
Health coaching
Habits and behaviour — sleep, movement, food, pacing. Often available through the NHS. Best when the challenge is doing what you already know would help.
Transformational life coaching
Mindset, identity and direction: who you are now and what’s possible next. Forward-looking, whole-person work — best when you feel stuck, lost or shrunk by illness.

Ask something else
Do you only coach people with MS?–

No. MS is my lived experience, but I coach people with Parkinson’s, fibromyalgia, ME/CFS, long Covid, autoimmune and neurological conditions, chronic pain — and people with no diagnosis at all who simply feel stuck.
